LOL Mate that lot are Nutters...That event happens every year (Some Kind Of Medeviel Ritual) ...All the Health & Safety Snowflakes have been trying to put a halt to it for years.

they needed cleats not one was wearing them that i could tell.

Don't think cleats will help with that angle, but you may be able to bend your knee's backwards if you do.
